Terms of Service

Golden Rules 1–5

1. Use English in Trade Chat and avoid excessive capital letters.
2. Offensive character names are not allowed. Staff may replace them with a generic name without exception.
3. Disrespect, bullying, ridicule, or threats toward any player or staff member are not tolerated. Staff disrespect may result in 24 hours of jail or a ban.
4. Keep swearing in public chats to a minimum. Staff may warn or punish repeated or excessive profanity.
5. Advertising Shaiya servers that are not associated with MPG is not allowed.

Staff and Player Rules

1. Follow staff instructions while you are in the game.
2. Impersonating a staff member is not allowed.

Overall Game Rules

1. Stat padding is not allowed.
2. Skill cutting and jump cutting are not allowed.
3. Kill stealing is not allowed. Do not attack mobs pulled by another player. Farming spots cannot be claimed, but active pulls belong to the player who made them. If another player repeatedly steals your pulls or drops, take screenshots and send them to staff or open a ticket. Proof is required.
4. Do not repeatedly report a player for the purpose of harassment or defamation.
5. Do not create drama in Trade Chat. This includes prolonged complaints, public arguments, or encouraging others to mock a player or staff member.
6. If you believe another player has illegal items or edited statistics, report it privately to an administrator through a ticket. Do not accuse the player publicly in the game.
7. Real-money trading is prohibited. Buying or selling in-game items, gold, or accounts for real money, virtual currency, goods, or accounts in other games may result in both the buyer and seller being banned.
8. Account or item theft is prohibited. Do not access another player’s account, steal items, gold, or an account, or request account credentials. Staff will never ask for your password. Buying or selling accounts for gold is also prohibited.
9. Scamming is prohibited, including removing items from a trade immediately before accepting or using any other method to deceive a player.
10. Spawn killing and killing players from behind guards are not allowed. This rule does not apply when a player logs in, is summoned, or is moved into the middle of a map.
11. Do not remove players from a raid without a valid reason. Staff may investigate and decide whether the removal was justified. Spying for the opposing faction may result in a permanent ban on all associated accounts.

Client Rules

1. Modifying the game client is not allowed. This includes all forms of dual boxing.
2. Third-party programs are not allowed.
3. Illegal links and illegal enchantments, including illegal cape enchantments, are not allowed.

Hollow Shaiya Rules

1. Hollow Shaiya is not responsible for information shared between players or for losses caused by the improper use of that information.
2. Hollow Shaiya is not responsible for the loss of in-game features or assets that were not obtained through authorized means. Availability of in-game items, services, and levels is not guaranteed.
3. Hollow Shaiya is not responsible for loss of access or data caused by maintenance, restarts, crashes, or other server downtime.
4. All in-game items and accounts are the property of Hollow Shaiya. They may not be sold or exchanged except where explicitly authorized by Hollow Shaiya. A harmful action may still be punished even if it is not listed word-for-word here. Ask staff when you are unsure.
5. Every boss raid must be announced in Trade Chat.
6. Announce the boss in Trade Chat before starting. Announce again at 50% HP. Lock the raid at 20% HP, then reopen it after the boss is killed.
7. Guilds may run their own raid, but they must follow every rule that applies to a public raid.
8. Only one raid may be formed for a boss. If a [GS] is present, that [GS] must be the raid leader or sub-leader.
9. Do not remake a raid during a boss fight. Attempting to create a replacement raid to take control may result in a 24-hour account ban. If a [GS] is present, that [GS] should lead or sub-lead the raid.
10. Toxic behavior is not tolerated. A first offense may result in a 24-hour ban; later penalties are determined by staff.

A harmful action does not become acceptable simply because it is not listed here. When in doubt, ask a [GS] or [GM].
